Matchday 2 - Your thoughts

Quel surprise - Germany looked comfortably efficient in their game against Poland, although as Duffman said recently, they do occasionally look a bit shaky at the back.

I thought Poland gave a good account of themselves and certainly shouldn't be written off yet. Their next game should be interesting...

Croatia seemed a little below par, but that could be down to the same reason as the Czechs didn't look themselves (i.e. playing a host country with huge home support). Or maybe it was because of the absence of Eduardo? Could he really have such a big impact on the team alone?

As for Austria, I thought they looked more likely to score than their co-hosts, and with any luck they'll pick up some points in their remaining games. Pogatetz needs to calm down a bit, though...
